A Six Sense Gap in our present generation!
Two years ago when I was into healthcare industry I found a loop hole into existing system which burnt me from inside and suddenly in evening I started sweating. I went to the shop and had a coke. Relaxed a little bit, sat on a chair, looked at beautiful weather and started thinking. Soon I was filled with lots of questions. The questions were like below:
1. What about those patients that don't have fingers?
2. What about those patients that don't have voice?
3. What about those patients that don't have energy to press any emergency button to call a nurse or doctor?
4. What about those doctor's who are operating a patient and need something that is far away, don't have time to call a nurse or press a button?
5. What about those people who are presenting on the stage? Why do they need another person to change their slides or need to hold a device for changing it?
6. Can we have devices that don't use mouse or button?
While I am in banking industry I am feeling the same and now I have few more questions:
1. Why do I need Paytm or debit card for processing my funds and do payment?
2. Why do I even need to go through 5 pages during checkout process for purchasing any product and waste my 20 minutes?
I developed a bot which can be controlled through gesture instead. 3 gestures only needed- one for selecting the address, one for adding cash from my bank and one for doing payment. Every time I need to do payment, it scans my fingers, gets controlled through my gestures and my process is done. I am applying here my Lean Six Sigma skill to bring down a 20 min process to 30 second process. Removing the use of payment gateway apps with a widget and a camera. Removing the theft of any card or any online fraud.
The healthcare 5 questions can also be replaced with a gesture. I am providing a link to get a hint of it. The technologies I used to built it is Arduino Uno controller, Python Libraries and Open CV library.
